You certainly must let Luna develop her little character as that is what makes having a dog in the home sooo special. Lucy, sleeps on the bed, Lucky prefers by my bedside so he can keep an eye on the door (he´s chief of security!). They have water available all day and food intervals when we eat too. I think it might be a good idea to attend class to ensure you cover the basics especially recall, as you say, to keep Luna safe. Lucky went to classes and remembers the basics but even at 7 years old he still acts like a puppy! Congrats on 100th and sharing your views.
